Deià
The idea of building your own stone house in a beautiful place appeals to many but remains a dream. Kate and Toby have done it. Welcome to this collection of short videos (3-minute snapshots in time). They celebrate Kate and Toby's remarkable achievement not just in building a stone house and garden but in building themselves a home at Deià (Deià or Deja - previously known to me as Cosy Corner).
I usually arrive with the video camera in April. Toby can be reluctant to be filmed, but warms up after a while. Clearly, there are a lots of works and events that are not filmed, so there are leaps of achievement. Please ignore some of the incorrect part numbers in the videos. I lost track of them, but apart from the 8-minute video portrait, this list is in chronological order.
